THE 2026 FILM FESTIVAL
Compton’s Hub City International Film Festival (CHCIFF) is an exciting platform that showcases exceptional work from independent filmmakers around the world. Our 3rd Annual Festival, held in the vibrant city of Compton, California, is a gathering of diverse voices and perspectives in the world of cinema. This year's theme is "Ladies Touch" honoring women writers, directors, producers and creatives across the globe.
ABOUT OUR FESTIVAL
At CHCIFF, we value creativity and originality, and we are always on the lookout for captivating and thought-provoking films and documentaries. Whether it’s a feature-length masterpiece, a thought-provoking short film, or an experimental and boundary-pushing piece, we welcome submissions in various genres and styles.
Not only do we embrace traditional film formats, but we also encourage filmmakers to explore new and emerging technologies. Our festival proudly features podcasts, virtual reality experiences (VR 360), and even music videos that push the boundaries of visual storytelling. We believe that innovation and experimentation are essential for the growth of the film industry.
As a platform that celebrates the art of filmmaking, CHCIFF provides a unique opportunity for both students and seasoned filmmakers to showcase their talent. We understand the importance of supporting emerging voices in the industry, and we take pride in featuring works by talented students alongside established professionals.
Furthermore, our festival offers both competitive and non-competitive showcases. Industry professionals, who are well-versed in the craft, will serve as judges and select the winners. This ensures a fair evaluation process and provides a platform for talented filmmakers to gain recognition and exposure.
